Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $40.00 nor more than $400.00 together with the costs of the action and in default of payment, be imprisoned in the County Jail for a period not to exceed 90 days. [Code § 10.09.]
