(a) An owner shall maintain a maintenance log for each wind turbine. The log must contain the following information regarding any maintenance performed on the wind turbine:

1. date and time maintenance was performed.

2. nature of the maintenance performed.

3. reason for the maintenance.

(b) An owner shall, at the owner’s expense, provide the Department with a copy of the maintenance log for each wind turbine for each month within 5 calendar days after the end of the month.

(c) The Department may retain such consultants or experts as it deems necessary to assess and determine whether the wind energy system facilities are compliant or to assess whether the wind energy system facilities are being maintained in good repair and operating condition. [Code § 12.18.3-30.]
