Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 59.69(5)(e)5 and amendments thereto, upon receipt of such committee report, the County board may adopt the ordinance as drafted by the Department of Planning and Development or with amendments, or it may deny the petition for amendment or it may refuse to deny the petition as recommended by the committee in which case it shall re-refer the petition to the Planning, Development & Extension Education Committee with directions to draft an ordinance to effectuate the petition and report the same back to the County Board, which may then adopt or reject such ordinance.
