Signs lawfully existing at the time of the adoption or amendment of this Ordinance may be continued or refaced, as defined in this Ordinance, although the use, size, or location does not conform with the provisions of this Ordinance. However, it shall be deemed a nonconforming use or structure and the provisions of Section 12.39.070 or 12.39.080 shall apply as applicable. [Code § 12.14-7.]
