As permitted in 12.08.010(e) of this ordinance, the temporary use regulations of this section are intended to allow such occasional, temporary uses and activities when consistent with the overall purposes of this zoning ordinance and the uses allowed in a particular zoning district, and when the operation of the temporary use will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or general welfare.

The nature, character or circumstances of temporary uses are unique and dependent upon specific conditions. Therefore, specifying all temporary uses and associated standards, regulations or conditions necessary or appropriate for a temporary use permit to be granted is not practical. [Code § 12.18.7-1.]
