(a) An owner must obtain the County’s approval before constructing a SES or expanding an existing or previously approved SES, and no SES may be installed, constructed, or expanded without a zoning permit issued by the Department of Planning and Development (hereinafter referred to as the “Department”) under section 12.05.010 of the Municipal Code of Kenosha County.

(b) The owner must pay an application fee at the time the application for a SES is filed with the Department.

(c) A zoning permit issued by the Department expires if construction of the SES is not commenced within 18 months from the date of the permit. [Ord. 6 (2022).]
